Sutton points to Celtic’s obvious flaw after draw

Chris Sutton has taken to twitter straight after Celtic dropped 2 points at Easter Road to point out Celtic’s obvious flaw.

We were not only flat but we were extremely one dimensional, the attack revolved around taking the ball to the by line, crossing it in and hoping to get a header into goal.

This doesn’t work when you have Centre Halves like Porteous well over 6 foot tall, Hibs cleared their lines over and again.

Our plan B seemed to be to go down the other side, there was little to anything direct on goal from Celtic over 90 minutes.

It didn’t help that our best players all had bad days at the office, Jota, Rogic and Hatate were all off their games today and a nonsensical decision to book Starfelt had him playing within himself.

Carter Vickers was strong at the back but had little impact when he pushed forward and gave away a fair few free kicks.

Abada played well for the 90 minutes and was unlucky not to get a goal himself or an assist, he tried his heart out today.

We now need Motherwell to do us an unlikely favour at Ibrox where the words penalty to Rangers will be ringing in our ears should the game be a contest late on.

I might add that the amount of timewasting from Hibs was staggering, the sheer amount of players lying on the floor was a joke, Porteous himself claimed a head knock after heading the ball.

You couldn’t make it up.
