Well you know that Sevco are desperate for money when completely ridiculous pieces hit the internet claiming bids, interests and mega money deals that never quite seem to be realised.

Scottish Express is an absolute comic, we will be getting plenty of guff from them this year as they pitch their line at a certain demographic.

Here is the gist of the article above.

Rangers have reportedly turned down a £6million offer for Ianis Hagi as the Romanian star battles back from injury.

It’s claimed Turkish giants Galatasaray made the move – having been previously rebuffed last winter – but were told the attacker was not for sale.

The 23-year-old was born in Istanbul when famous dad Gheorghe played for Gala and played against Rangers in the Champions League.

According to sport.ro the big money offer was made but Rangers told the Turks that they see the Romanian star as key to their plans for the new season.

The outlet also claim that Jose Mourinho’s Roma are long-term admirers but have cooled their interest as Hagi recovers from an anterior cruciate ligament injury.,

Hagi was a regular under Steven Gerrard and was also used on the right side of attack by Gio van Bronckhorst who clearly feels he is a valuable asset for next season.
