Celtic legend Scott Brown has missed out on the Aberdeen job to Jim Goodwin, the St. Mirren gaffer has been punching well above his weight and has moved into arguably the biggest job in Scotland outside of Glasgow.
Broony’s role at Aberdeen is also up for grabs after being crocked, he may move to the dug out as an assistant or cease his coaching role all together.
As reported by MSN.
New boss Jim Goodwin has named his first Aberdeen XI as his side take on Motherwell. Captain Scott Brown – a contender to become the next St Mirren manager- misses out after limping out of the midweek draw with St Johnstone.
The veteran midfielder was withdrawn shortly after the hour mark against Saints and interim boss Barry Robson admitted the injury “didn’t look good”.
Hopefully Broony makes a full recovery, he is contracted to Aberdeen until the end of next season.
