Atletico Madrid have joined the list of clubs reportedly wanting Josip Juranovic on their roster for the coming season.
With 4 years left on his contract and the player settled we are in no need to sell, just last week he said he wanted to remain at Celtic even though there was interest in him from south of the border.
He wants to play for his country Croatia at the coming World Cup and knows that he needs regular game time to get it.
Also there are 6 massive games in the Champions League to look forward to where he is a settled member of the squad, there are plenty of reasons to stay.
Kieran Tierney was a fine servant at Celtic and has done well at Arsenal since leaving, he has caught the eye of Real Madrid and Barcelona with a fee of £50 million being discussed.
If that is true then what price for Jura?
He is a better player than Tierney, he can use both feet for starters, he can also play at either Left Back or Right Back, takes penalties as an out and out defender Tierney is stronger in tackling but that is it.
Juranovic is an extremely versatile player coming from a country who made the World Cup final last time, he must be worth a club record at this stage, let alone what he will be worth at Christmas after the WC and Champions League.
Celtic are in no need to sell and should surely hold on till at least the January window, he is only going to be worth more then.
